Info Meetings, Visits, and Applications
We were very pleased to welcome so many interested students and families in our Fall Informational Meetings and through other contacts we’ve received. We’ve met some great students and we’re looking forward to getting to know them better. We have a series of upcoming events in January and February for both the folks we have met and those we haven’t yet had the privilege to meet. Please read on to find out more about upcoming opportunities to learn more about the program and the application process.
Winter Informational Meetings. Tri-County International Academy will hold a series of meetingsĀ to share information about the IB program at Tri-County with interested students and their families. Guests will hear more about what students can expect from an IB education and the IB experience. Details are being finalized this week and will be posted on this site soon. Two dates have been confirmed so far: Rittman High School Library on Monday, February 9 at 7:00p, and Wooster High School Library on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:00p. A 3rd meeting time and location is in the works. (These meetings will largely mirror the fall informational meetings. Students who attended those needn’t attend these sessions, although you are certainly welcome!)
Preview Visits. We will begin sending invitations to students to visit the program in the next few days. We are targeting the end of January/beginning of February for those visits to occur. Where possible, we will invite students from the same school to visit on the same date. Invitations will go out only to students who have previously indicated an interest in this. If you’re not sure, or would like to be added to our list, please email us at tesc_lemon [at] tccsa [dot] net.
Applications. We are finalizing our application packet for the class of 2011 and will distribute those during the preview visits. We will mail applications to students who are not planning to visit at this time and the application information will also be available online to print and complete.
Please don’t hestitate to contact me (Chad Lemon) or our Head-of-school, Madalyn Bauer to request further information.
