Summer School Option

Virtual Learning Academy will begin accepting applications for VLA Summer School this week. For students needing to complete subjects like Algebra II and Physical Education, this is a good option.

The Tri-County Educational Service Center will be offering Summer School through the Virtual Learning Academy (VLA).  Due to growing numbers, we will be offering summer school at satellite programs throughout the area.  Summer School applications will be available beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

Summer school classes are 8 weeks in duration, and students are required to attend one class session per week per content area with their instructor present to assist them as needed.  Upon successful completion of each course, official transcripts are created and sent to the student’s school.  Summer school online lessons are structured in the same format as our regular VLA courses offered during the school year.
