Application period to close; Waiting list to follow
We are excited to have a great turnout of applicants for the 2009-2010 school year. Registrations are right on target with students enrolled in the Diploma Program from several tri-county area districts. Additionally, applicants for certificates in a few of our core courses have us approaching capacity in those courses.
As a result of this interest, we are nearing the end of the timeframe during which we are able to accept applications to the program. We are still able to accommodate a few more students and the program will continue accepting students through Friday, May 22, 2009.
After this deadline we will need to guarantee seats to certificate-only applicants. However, we will continue to receive applications to be placed on an admissions waiting list on a first-come-first-served basis up through the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year (a few openings during the summer are common).
We believe that the IB Program provides a unique choice among the options available to high school students in the area and is a very worthwhile way to prepare for college. If you are considering applying for the program, I want to encourage you to conclude the application process as soon as possible.
