Welcome Back
Back to school events for the 2009-2010 school year are underway today. In our Diploma Programme we are welcoming back 10 outstanding seniors and 18 incoming junior students as well as certificate students in 2 new subjects.
Noteworthy Dates:
August 12, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, August 13, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM: Student registration
Students will complete the annual paperwork, such as medical information and Acceptable Use policies, obtain parking permits, have a photo taken, and receive a class schedule. Wooster High students will also need to pay any relevant WHS fees, such as athletics. IB lab fees will be collected at a later date.
August 24, 8:00-11:00 AM: New Student Orientation
We will take advantage of this staggered start time to review class schedules, review and plan for your CAS experience, including navigated your way around CAS Manager, and distribute laptops if the tech office has those ready for us. This is for all IB juniors in the Diploma Programme.
Lunch will be available in the school cafeteria.
August 24: 11:00 AM to approx. 2:00 PM: First day of classes for all students.
We will operate on an abbreviated schedule for the first day. Please note that this will push back the dismissal time somewhat.
August 24: 6:30 PM: Open House
Parents and students are invited to attend Open House on Monday, August 24th, at 6:30 PM to meet the IB staff and visit classrooms by following the student’s daily schedule.
